About Me

Hi, I’m Emily, the artist and maker behind Mmmily Handmade, based in Rochester, NY.

I run a one woman studio creating thoughtfully designed, well made goods for people and pets with personality. My work blends fine art sensibilities with functional craft, with a strong focus on color, composition, and intentional design. Everything I make is meant to be used and enjoyed, without sacrificing quality or care.

What sets my work apart is craftsmanship. With a background in fiber art and years of experience teaching quilting, I bring a deep attention to construction, durability, and finishing to every piece. These are products designed for real life, made to last, and created with both purpose and personality.

I hold an MFA from Rochester Institute of Technology and spent several years teaching there before transitioning to Mmmily Handmade full time. Today, my work is available online, at art festivals, and in regional stores & boutiques.

My goal is to create well made pieces that feel special, thoughtful, and a little bit fun.
